head chef ben murphy

London born and bred.
Through great kitchens and under the guidance of some of the sharpest minds in the business, Ben has honed a style rooted in classical technique but never confined by it. He’s learned when to hold back, when to let rip, and above all, how to make food that speaks.
Now comes 74 Charlotte Street. Not just another opening, but something closer to a calling card. It is here that Ben cooks as he was always meant to, combining rigour with mischief, elegance with something a little more unruly. Plates which carry the weight of experience but also the thrill of joy. Not joy as a concept, but simply joy as a tangible thing you can eat. Where every dish says something honest, confident and entirely its own.
Not to impress, but to express.
>celebrating food that simply everyone likes to eat<
